THEME: Sharing Healthy City for More People

Since the second half of the 20th century, Asia has become a region with the fastest growth of urban population large cities in the world. In the process of rapid urbanization, the belief in creating a better living environment and improving the quality of life has always been leading the design thinking of architects and planners.

The search for solutions to healthier and happier lives by architects and building technologists never stops. In 1994, the World Health Organization (WHO) defined the concept of a healthy city as “a healthy city, which continuously creates and improves the natural and social environment, expands social resources, enables people to support each other, and exert their potential in life, thereby stimulating the city’s potential. maximum potential,” but this is a process, not a result. The determinants of addressing health problems need participation, solidarity, cooperation and interaction among departments. With the spread, prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic since 2020, architects and planners around the world, especially in Asia, are facing unprecedented and more complex health life problems and more specific personalized needs, which should be resolved during the construction process.
